Tanning Tips:
You have made a wise decision in choosing to tan
in a comfortable, controlled atmosphere.
Our goal is to help you achieve the best tan
possible while teaching you how to avoid sunburn
and overexposure, both outdoors in the sunshine
and indoors in this facility.
That's what we call "Smart Tanning."
Moisturize Daily - Tanning tends to dry the skin, so a good
quality moisturizer replenishes lost moisture and extends the life of
your tan.

Use an Accelerator - Tanning accelerators speed the rate at
which you tan, and provide superior skin care during the tanning
process.

Exfoliate Regularly - A good quality exfoliating scrub removes
dead skin cells & prepares the skin for tanning. Increasing the
effectiveness of your tanning sessions.

Use Moderation - Don't tan every day, your skin needs a rest.
And, don't tan indoors and outdoors the same day.

SPF Sunscreens are Advisable Outdoors - Unlike
indoor tanning, nothing is controlled when tanning outdoors, so
give yourself a margin of comfort by using a sunscreen.

Vary Equipment - Each bed uses different light. Many clients find
they get the best results when they are varying their equipment
usage.
Protect your eyes. Closing them is not adequate protection against possible
long-term eye injury. Wearing the correct eye-protection eliminates that risk.

Protect your lips by wearing lip balm or sunscreen. Lips do not produce
melanin and can burn easily.

When tanning nude, protect sensitive areas of the body that normally are not
exposed to UV light. Skin on the underarms, backs of legs, buttocks, and
genitalia can suffer severe sunburn from the same light intensity that only tans
the rest of your body. Expose these areas gradually by covering them halfway
through tanning sessions for the first three or four times you tan nude
Gradually increase exposure to these areas until they catch up with the rest.

Taking medication? Please let our staff know. Some medications can cause
reactions with UV light.

Other advantages to using specialized indoor tanning lotions:

Save you time! Moisturized skin tans more quickly.

Save you money! You get better tanning results in fewer
sessions.

Save your skin! Moisturized skin is healthier. Indoor lotions help
counteract the drying effects of heat and light associated with
tanning.
We strongly recommend the use of an indoor tanning lotion to
maximize the enjoyment of your tanning experience.
